McLean, Koehler, Sparks & Hammond (MKS&H) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Milas, CPA, MST. Jennifer joined MKS&H in 2007 as a Tax Accountant. .In her new role, Mrs. Milas will be in charge of overseeing the daily operations and client service aspects of the firm’s tax department.

Jennifer has over 10 years’ of experience in accounting with extensive experience in tax planning and compliance for closely held mid-size businesses and their owners. Her industry experience is in construction, manufacturing, various industry wholesalers and resellers, and various personal service providers. Jennifer also specializes in consulting on income tax nexus, inventory capitalization for tax, dispute resolution with the IRS and other taxing jurisdictions, and family business succession planning.

Mrs. Milas graduated from Hood College, with a B.S. degree in Economics and Management with a Concentration in Finance, Hood College, and Graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2003 and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society and the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Honor Society in Economics. In December 2009, Jennifer earned her Masters of Science in Taxation at American University in Washington DC. She earned her professional designation of Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mrs. Milas resides in Frederick, Maryland with her husband and two children.
