Kathleen M. Davis, CPA, CGMA
Kathleen M. Davis, CPA, CGMA is a recognized tax and accounting expert. Having joined MKSH in 1990, she has served as Managing Partner since 2010. She has over 30 years of public accounting experience and is a leader in the firm’s tax practice.
Kathy has a diverse tax, accounting and business background and provides a wide range services to the firm’s client base. Kathy works with closely held businesses and high net worth individuals and has developed tax minimization strategies for individuals, partnerships and corporate clients in addition to estates and trusts. Kathy is responsible for tax & consulting engagements in the firms’ Real Estate, Construction, Manufacturing, International and Cemetery Industries.
Kathy received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from George Mason University. She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In the community, Kathy has had the honor of serving as the past president of the Estate Planning Council of Frederick County and past President of the Baltimore chapter of Worldwide Employee Benefits (WEB). She also formerly served an Eight-year term for the Board of Trustees of the Community Foundation of Frederick County and is the past chair of the board. Kathy is a graduate of the Leadership Frederick County program and currently serves, by appointment of Governor Hogan, as a trustee and finance committee chair on the Maryland Small Business Retirement Savings Board.
